Meet Molly Gebler, Managing Partner - Inn of Chagrin

Tell us about yourself.

I grew up in Chagrin Falls (well, I moved here when I was 15). I am a wife, a mother of two amazing girls and a grandmother to two of the most incredible twins, Mary & John. They are my absolute life! Being a grandma is the best job in the world!

I've written many children's books about Chagrin Falls, directed an award-winning documentary about the Chagrin Falls Pumpkin Roll and I currently host a podcast, "A Piece of Molly's Mind," where I had the privilege of chatting with you about the toby bar.

How did you become the Managing Partner of the Inn of Chagrin?

Years ago, I worked with Bret Adams at his restaurant Burntwood Tavern.  I left there and became the executive director of the Chagrin Valley Chamber.   I love supporting all the local businesses.  Bret approached me with the opportunity to partner with him on the Inn of Chagrin. Although I knew nothing about running an inn at that time, I knew I loved people and how to take care of them. It was a perfect fit.

What do you enjoy most about your business?

Learning all about our guests. I love sitting down and talking with our guests.  We see

guests from all over the world and I love getting to know them and watching them fall in love with Chagrin Falls during their stay.

What’s your biggest challenge?

Wow, that is a loaded question. Every day brings something new, but you just do what it takes to guarantee an amazing stay for the guests.  The building is 100 years old next year, so that brings many challenges.

Why do you think toby bars are so popular with your guests?

Please... because they are DELICIOUS!!!
