Toby, Co-Founder

Almost all of my professional experience in one way or another has been in the business development, communication and PR/marketing side of things. If people have never heard of the toby bar, they can’t enjoy it, right? I have an irrational attachment to guerrilla marketing.

Melanie, Co-Founder

I’ve always loved figuring out how things work, so it seems natural that I’d be responsible for ‘the inner workings’ of the business - production, distribution, operations. Of course, in a small business, there are no boundaries so you might find me in customer service or social media too.

Casey, CEO/Canine Executive Officer

I came to my profession as ‘office dog’ later in life when I was adopted as a 9-year-old by Toby and Melanie who love small businesses. Keeping everyone smiling and greeting coworkers and customers is my primary responsibility. And, as fitness coach, I ensure all my team mates get their daily walks in.

I've been designing brands for over 20 years, working with everyone from top 10 banks to coffee roasters to luxury resorts. What I love most is helping small businesses find their voice and bring it to life visually. I’ve worked with Toby and Melanie for more than 15 years on various projects, I'm thrilled to help them make the world a little more delicious with the toby bar.

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I have always loved building something from the ground up. After culinary school, I became a chocolatier and worked my way up into business management. I especially enjoy finding creative solutions for small-scale operations.
